Rebound therapy and climbing wall

The Chamwell Centre will have a trampolining gym with floor-level trampoline, which can be used for rebound therapy to benefit those with physical disabilities, sensory problems, learning disability and autism, as well as those who would like to use it for conventional trampolining. An overhead hoist will ensure accessibility to all.

On one wall of the trampolining gym will be an interactive climbing wall, specially designed to be accessible to children with physical disability.

Benefits of rebound therapy

These activities will allow physical exercise, helping to develop strength and fitness, as well as balance, spatial awareness and general well-being. From small beginnings, young people can go on to great achievements, such as transferring skills learned on the climbing wall to real mountaineering adventures, specially designed for people who use wheelchairs.
