FACILITIES

The Milestone School is one of the largest schools for children with Special Educational Needs in the country and caters for over three hundred pupils with a wide range of severe and complex special educational needs and physical disabilities. It has an excellent reputation and has consistently been assessed as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted. The building has been designed to minimise its impact on the site yet still provide a range of facilities:

Hydrotherapy

A water-based therapy within a modern, purpose-built hydrotherapy pool that will be beneficial for any individual with a physical disability.

Rebound therapy

Rebound therapy promotes balance, movement and relaxation using trampolines. The therapeutic exercises also improve fitness and muscle tone.

Occupational therapy

Occupational therapists work with the Chamwell Centre to ensure that every individual can take part in everyday activities to the best of their ability.

Soft Play

Our two storey adventure soft play will offer children the chance to have fun in a safe environment.

Speech & language therapy

The Chamwell Centre will work with expert speech and language therapists to provide support in communication, feeding and swallowing.

Atrium

A social area where our school leavers can learn independence skills and everyone can enjoy a cup of tea!
